Two workshops will be offered:

BEGINNING TO INTERMEDIATE TRIBAL IMPROV TECHNIQUE
10AM-12PM
This workshop covers basic to intermediate vocabulary and foundation skills used in
Tribal Bellydance, with exploration of various ideas and styles. We will cover correct
posture and isolation of hip, chest and arm movements, basic partnering skills, and
group improvisation concepts. Zills, basic rhythm study, and costuming may be included
if time allows.

TWEAKIN’
1PM-3PM
How to make “their move” into “your move” with a few simple tweaks! We will explore
several families of movements and through them learn how we can take inspiration from
the dancers we admire, while developing our own particular aesthetic and style.

Pre-registration is recommended, as space is limited.

Sharon Moore is a passionate tribal Bellydance artist who devotes her energies
to instructing, performing and costume design. With a combined background of
study in classic dance forms, music and theatre, she finds tribal Bellydance to
be the most rewarding performance art she has ever encountered. She has dual
teacher certifications in both the FatChance ATS format and the Gypsy Caravan
